Wonderful. I have travelled in all classes when I was a boy in the 1970's and 1980's as the hub was Hong Kong and Frankfurt. What is on the market today is outstanding and is better than First in these days. Wonderful. My Father always took Pan American 001 or 002 from HKG to FRA in F. He was always happy with this. Long time ago. My favourite has become GF over the years as their Falcon Gold Cabin is alright with a consistent quality as well as a great lounge in BAH! Best of greetings from Frank, Najomtien! I'll be flying LH business from FRA-AUS again next year (did it in January in the A330 - perfectly OK, but cabin definitely inferior) - I wonder if they'll have the new cabin on that route by then? Probably not, but we can always hope. Thanks for the typically thorough and amusing review.

I tell you is was like cement. My poor back side just could not get comfortable. I tried multiple pillows and alcohol while watching the 1st Star Wars movie hoping to fall asleep. No luck, twisting and turning all night. When we arrived in Fiji, I was surprised to hear my name over the loud speaker intercom in the airport. I was instructed to report to baggage area. “We’re sorry sir but your wife’s 2 bags of luggage are still in Sf do to a broken belt”. That’s just great, no sleep and now and upset wife. I need a drink fast. The luggage showed up 2 days latter. Show less Reply

love this report, thank you! it's been ages since i flew anywhere, but i used to travel Cathay first class a lot, and their (vintage now?! haha) gorgeous & well made Shanghai Tang pyjamas are still one of my favourite things in the world. i kept lots of them, gave lots to friends, and wear them all the time, mostly for lounging around, as i am right now! hope you have some in your wardrobe too!

I rather u show the food and the facts and how it looks inside the plane rather than showing yourself talking.

What a great report! We're looking at Finnair or Swiss, for a long haul, next year. We were worried about sleeping, as my wife has a spinal fusion, and needs to lay comfortably, on long haul. Thanks for a great review.

Tamdao by Diptyque is my all time favourite perfume. such a fabulous score for Qatar to feature it, and a lovely and sophisticated soft product offering. i also think it's very clever - it's an incredibly soothing and cuddly perfume, and strangers and friends alike almost always seem to lean in and ask what it is (and all of my dogs have particularly loved it!), so i can only imagine that having it waft through the cabin makes for an even more peaceful atmosphere, and calmer customers. gotta love crowd control through top notch perfume! wishing you safe and wonderful travels, and all the best. your videos are a delight, thank you 🌻

This airport fucking sucks. You gotta pass through too many security checks. There's one if your connecting and then another at your fucking gate. Imagine, TSA groping your genitals and checking your luggage at the gate, yeah it happens here. They ask you what you packed 5 times at each check. Sir laptops batteries water bottles? You have to meet 9 different people to present your passport and ticket. Fuckin retarded

These seats are nothing but glorified premium economy seats, I am not paying business class prices for that, sorry I will take a pass

Thank you again, Chris. Lovely report and agree with everything that you are saying. I am a regular traveller on Qatar and have experienced most of the seats but not yet the 350/1000 Q Suite. It looks excellent. As wonderful as First class in their A380 is, that Q suite seems much more preferable. No Al Safwa First Lounge of course but the flight experience might compensate.

Great video , which camera do you use to film ?

I've only transferred through Doha once, just after the World Cup. I was on a business saver ticket, so couldn't get into the al Mourjan, unfortunately. I had to make do with the Oryx, which was OK, but not great to sleep in, and a bit crowded at times. I'll be back in three weeks, for a shorter layover. I wonder what I'll be able to get into ... Thanks as always for an amusing and informative video.

The business flat bed both in the throne and normal business seat is terribly tight. I had the most uncomfortable business flight of my life with Swiss . I didn’t get any sleep on my eleven hour flight from Zurich to Bangkok. BA, Lufthansa, Qatar and Emirates offer a much more comfortable experience.

Great video, again!. I think Lights are animal lungs - my mother used to buy them from the butcher to boil and feed to our cats - not a great smell when cooking it (days before extractor fans!)

I am making an Emirates First Class trip myself in 5 weeks, from MAN-DXB-PER, and I am so excited. It is a once in a lifetime experience and I am looking forward to it, even more so after watching this. Dom Pérignon and caviar at 40,000ft, a shower and Hennessy Paradis are a must. I just flew from Cairo to Frankfurt and paid for Business Class. It was AWFUL. It’s an Economy seat!! A 4 hour flight in an Economy seat with a Business Class fare. The BALLS it takes Lufthansa to pass off an Economy seat as Business is unfathomable. It was the worst experience ever.

BA have recently changed their BC amenities kit bags. They are now white and rectangular

I agree with the lounge. It was sub-ok. The showers were warm to cold; they ran out of towels, shampoo and soap. I brought a gym towel (luckily) and I had a hotel body liquid soap bottle. The lounge was nice. The electrical connectors were damaged in multiple areas, as I had to move seats till I found one that functional.
